Villa Baltic Dream is a comfortable, high standard guesthouse located in a seaside district, by the promenade and beach in Międzyzdroje on ul. Pomorska 16.
The building is entered into the register of monuments. It was built between 19th and 20th century as a summer guesthouse and now, after general renovation and reconstruction it’s open all year round.
Rooms are elegantly decorated. We offer double and triple rooms, suites and apartments with kitchen annexes.
Kitchen with all necessary appliances including microwave and electric cooker available.
Free beach equipment, windbreaks, beach chairs and blankets.
We offer free parking at the facility. The number of parking spaces is limited, information about the availability of a parking space at the reception on the day of arrival.

The Data Controller is responsible for processing personal data in accordance with applicable legislation, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, hereinafter referred to as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Depending on the type of contact, reservation or service provided, we may process the following personal data:
First and last name;
Email address and telephone number;
Residential address, where required to provide a particular service or issue an accounting document;
Reservation details, including the dates of stay, number of guests and selected room type;
Data necessary for payment processing and settlement;
Data required to issue an invoice;
The content of correspondence and enquiries addressed to the property;
Information about accommodation preferences, where provided by the Guest and necessary to deliver the service;
Image data recorded by CCTV, where a person is present in a monitored area.
Identity document details are processed only where there is an appropriate legal basis and a genuine need to collect them.
We do not collect data that are unnecessary for the relevant purpose.
We process personal data for the following purposes:
a) Handling enquiries and reservations
To respond to enquiries, prepare offers, make and manage reservations, contact Guests and provide accommodation services.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – taking steps prior to entering into a contract and performing a contract.
b) Payments, accounting and legal obligations
To receive and settle payments, issue invoices and other accounting documents, and comply with legal obligations.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.
c) Establishing, pursuing and defending legal claims
To establish, pursue or defend against potential claims relating to reservations and services provided.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – the legitimate interests of the Data Controller.
d) Personal safety and property protection
To prevent theft, damage and other incidents that may threaten safety, to the extent justified by the nature of the property.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – the legitimate interests of the Data Controller, provided that an assessment confirms that CCTV monitoring is necessary and proportionate.
e) Communication with Guests and handling complaints
To respond to messages, consider complaints and resolve issues relating to a stay.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b), (c) or (f) GDPR, depending on the nature of the matter.
f) Marketing
Personal data may be used for marketing purposes only where an appropriate legal basis exists and, where required, the consent of the data subject has been obtained.
Providing the data necessary to make a reservation and deliver accommodation services is required to enter into or perform the contract.
Providing other data is voluntary, unless the data are required by applicable law or are necessary to fulfil a specific request.
If the data necessary to provide a service are not supplied, we may be unable to accept a reservation, perform the contract or issue the relevant document.
Personal data may be shared with service providers who support our business, but only to the extent necessary for the relevant purposes.
These may include, in particular:
Hotres – the provider of our reservation system and online booking services;
Booking.com – where reservations are made through this platform;
Payment service providers and banks, where they are involved in processing payments;
Accounting offices and accounting service providers;
IT service providers, hosting providers and website support providers;
Competent public authorities, where disclosure is required by law or another appropriate legal basis exists.
Service providers processing personal data on our behalf are required to ensure an appropriate level of data protection.
Personal data are not intentionally transferred outside the European Economic Area unless this is associated with the use of a particular service or system.
Where such a transfer takes place, it is carried out in accordance with the GDPR and subject to the required safeguards.
The retention period depends on the purpose for which the data were collected.
Enquiries without a reservation – for the period necessary to handle the enquiry and, where justified, for an additional period necessary to establish, pursue or defend potential claims.
Reservations and accommodation services – for the period necessary to perform the contract and settle the stay.
Accounting and tax documents – for the period required by applicable law.
Claims and complaints – for the period necessary to handle them and, where justified, until the relevant limitation periods expire.
Data processed on the basis of consent – until consent is withdrawn or the purpose of processing ceases to exist, taking into account any other legal basis that may justify further retention.
After the applicable retention period has expired, personal data are deleted or anonymised unless further storage is required by law.
CCTV monitoring may be used in designated communal areas of Villa Baltic Dream to ensure the safety of individuals and protect property.
CCTV does not cover rooms where Guests have a particular and reasonable expectation of privacy, such as guest bedrooms and bathrooms.
Cameras are located in visible areas and cover the following locations: the car park, courtyard, corridors, stairways and the communal guest kitchen.
The Data Controller for personal data collected through CCTV is the entity identified in Section 1 of this Privacy Policy.
The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, provided that an assessment confirms that CCTV monitoring is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests and that these interests are not overridden by the rights and freedoms of the individuals being monitored.
People entering monitored areas are informed about CCTV through appropriate signage and information concerning the processing of personal data.
CCTV footage retention period: 14 days.
After this period, recordings are automatically overwritten or permanently deleted, unless specific footage needs to be secured in connection with an incident or legal proceedings and there is an appropriate legal basis for retaining it for longer.
Access to recordings is restricted to authorised persons and is permitted only to the extent necessary for the relevant purposes. Recordings are not made available to other Guests. Disclosure to other parties, including the police, takes place only where justified and in accordance with applicable law.

Access your personal data and obtain a copy;
Rectify inaccurate personal data;
Request erasure of your personal data where the legal conditions are met;
Request restriction of processing;
Object to processing based on the legitimate interests of the Data Controller;
Request data portability where the conditions set out in the GDPR are met;
Withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
Lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority, in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
The exercise of individual rights depends on the legal basis and circumstances of the processing.

Personal data may be obtained directly from the Guest, from a person making a reservation on the Guest's behalf, or from the booking platform through which the reservation was made.
Where data are obtained from another source, the Data Controller provides the information required under Article 14 GDPR, unless a legal exception applies.
